Fan Zone 24 Hours of Le Mans

Context

Having pioneered full-hybrid systems and several times winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with that technology, Toyota relied on the launch of the new Toyota Corolla Hybrid in 2019 to reaffirm its position as leader of the environmental-friendly cars market.

Objective

Testing Toyota’s hybrid systems reliability and efficiency as part of a unique challenge which both customers and guests took part in.

ORECA Events solution

Organising a 24-hour race opposing teams of customers, journalists and VIPs coached by Toyota experts, on the technical circuit of La Ferté Gaucher (France). The best contenders covered 1,500 kilometres, over 500 of which in #zero emission mode, behind the wheel of the 180 hp Toyota Corolla Hybrid. All teams made it to the finish line, demonstrating how reliable and efficient the #Toyota Hybrid technology is.
